  • How long does therapy take?
    Every person is different and there are a multitude of factors that need to be considered when determining the length of services for speech, language, feeding, orofacial myofunctional therapy and learning remediation. Some factors include the type of disorder/difference (speech therapy versus a language disorder, specific learning impairment, etc.,), the severity of the disorder, the readiness of your child, commitment to therapy sessions, and family involvement.
  • What services do you provide?
    We provide speech, language, feeding, and orofacial myofunctional therapy. Our detailed list of services can be found on our home page or under Services on the top menu.
  • Do you take insurance?
    We are in network with Aetna, Tricare and some Medicaid plans. If you do not see a plan you have, please call us.

Glossary

Receptive and Expressive Language

Receptive language means the ability to understand information. It involves understanding the words, sentences, and meaning of what others say or what is read.

Expressive language means being able to put thoughts into words and sentences, in a way that makes sense and is grammatically accurate.
